Introduction

BridgePay is a payments platform. It needed apps for two very different users, people sending and receiving money and businesses accepting it, plus the tools to run the service safely behind the scenes.

We built the customer mobile app, the merchant app, the operations console and the server that connects them.

One platform in four pieces: a customer app, a merchant app, an admin console and a payments server.

Customers hold a wallet balance, send and receive money and see their history. The server handles accounts, transfers and notifications, with background job queues and live updates, and sign-in is protected by multi-factor authentication.

“In payments, trust is the product. Every screen and every endpoint is built around it.”

The operations console gives the BridgePay team one place to review accounts and transactions as the platform grows.

Conclusion

Payments platforms live or die on reliability and security. BridgePay was built with both from the first line of code.

If you're building a product that moves money, we'd like to hear about it.
